Charles Marshal Monroe, 88, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2021, at his home in Marietta, Georgia. He was born and raised in Laurel Hill, NC, to parents Marshall and Gertrude Monroe. After serving with the Army in the Korean War, he earned a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Indiana Tech University in 1959. He worked for Boeing Aircraft for 2 years before beginning a long career with Lockheed Martin from 1961 to 1998 as a Professional Engineer with the State of Georgia. He was married to Jo Ann G.
