March 2, 1952 - April 25, 2022

Connie Stuck Peacock of Dallas, GA entered into rest on Monday, April 25th in Dallas, GA. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 29th at 5:30 PM at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Macland Chapel. In Lieu of flowers please make a donation in Connie’s name to Cancer Treatment Centers of America at https://secure3.convio.net/demand/site/Donation2?df_id=7963&mfc_pref=T&7963.donation=form1 Connie is survived by her husband, Thomas Raiford Peacock Jr.; sons, Louis Carl Bowen IV (Ginnie), Lawrence Andrew Bowen, & Lance Patrick Fawbush; daughter, Erin Elaine Harris (Matt); sister, Linda Austin; grandchildren, Louis Carl Bowen V, Lillian Jane Harris, & Lincoln Edward Harris; and several nieces & nephews. Connie was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Milton Stuck Jr., who was killed during the Vietnam War, and her first husband, Retired Captain Louis Carl Bowen III, of the U.S. Air Force. Connie was born Sunday, March 2, 1952 in Atlanta, GA to Lawrence & Doris Stuck. The youngest of 3 children, she was raised in Atlanta and graduated from Therrell High School and Louisiana College. She lived in many places as a young adult, including Louisiana and England, but spent the remainder of her life in Marietta, Powder Springs, and Dallas, GA. She raised 4 children and worked primarily for the PriceWaterhouseCoopers accounting firm until her retirement in 2014. She has been an active member of many church congregations including Orange Hill Baptist Church and Burnt Hickory Baptist Church. Connie loved the Lord, her family, and her friends with all of her heart. Her legacy is one of faith in God, selfless generosity, and devotion to family and friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 29th between the hours of 4:30 and 5:30 at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Macland Chapel.
