David Wade Hogue Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

David (Dave) Hogue passed away on October 27, 2021 after a long and brave battle with cancer. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 3, 1961 to Martha and Garland Hogue. He was raised in North Olmsted, Ohio. After graduation from Cleveland State University, he spent his professional years in Indianapolis, Indiana and Atlanta, Georgia. Dave is survived by his wife Pam of 31 years. His son Max, his daughter Allyson, his daughter Susan, his sister Nancy and her husband Bud, and his brother John and his wife Patty, his nephew Josh as well as brothers and sisters-in law, nephews and his two ever-loving and faithful furry, four-legged companions, Jax and Tucker. He is predeceased by his grandson Colton Hogue and nephew Ryan Williams. Dave was an avid photographer and loved taking pictures of his family and anything in the sky. He also loved his telescope and looking at the stars. He was the National Director of The Environmental Institute in Marietta, Georgia where he excelled at helping people learn the rules and regulations of the industry. He had a strong work ethic and did not want to stop working until he felt all would be taken care of. Dave loved his family and both Cleveland and Indianapolis sports team. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him and those that loved him. Visitation will be held at Mayes Ward-Dobbins in Marietta on Thursday, November 4th from 5-7PM. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 5th at 1:00PM with visitation 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers, Dave has asked that a donation to a charity of your preference be placed in his honor or not, your choice. Reception to follow service at Hampton Inn, 2136 Kingston Ct.
