Eric Warren Heiter Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Eric Warren Heiter, 51, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 12th at the outdoor area of Hillside United Methodist Church in Woodstock, Georgia. Following the service, a celebration of his life will be held at Hennessy Honda of Woodstock in Woodstock, Georgia starting at 3:00. p.m. Eric is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Marcie Gillham Heiter and his precious children Rachel and Ryan Heiter, all of Canton, Georgia; his sister Stacy (Scott) Ray of Cave Spring, Georgia; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Eric is reunited in Heaven with his parents, Warren and Gail Heiter, and his son, Hugh Warren Heiter. Eric was born in Downey, California where he lived until his early teens. He moved briefly to Seattle, Washington, before finding his permanent home in Georgia. He worked for several years in the glass business before starting a career in the automotive industry. He worked for Hennessy Honda of Woodstock for 25 years, serving more than 10 years in his most recent position as New Car Sales Manager. Eric was a dedicated, loyal, and hard worker with a love for the work he did, the customers he served, and the people he worked with who became family to him. He has left an imprint there, and in the hearts and minds of so many people who were fortunate enough to cross his path. While he was blessed to have found success in a job he enjoyed, and friends who loved him like family, his passion in life was his wife and children whom he loved beyond measure. He was a good man. He was a good person. He was a good husband. He was a good father. He was a good provider. He had a good heart. And they will love and miss him forever. Eric was a man who would give you the shirt off his back. He had a quiet way of helping others in unique and personal ways that lifted spirits and changed lives. In lieu of flowers, please find a special or unique way to love on someone or lift someone, and then think of him when you do. I know that is something that would make him immensely happy and would be beautiful way to honor his memory.
