Ruby Maxwell, 91, of Dallas, GA, passed away on March 23, 2022, in Dallas, GA. Services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 1:00 PM at New Vision Baptist Church in Dallas, GA with Pastor Daniel Joiner & Pastor George Hill officiating. Family has asked in lieu of flowers that donation be made in Ruby’s name to a charity of your choice. Ruby is survived by her sons, Ronnie Maxwell of Villa Rica, GA & Wayne Maxwell & wife Wendy of Woodstock, GA; daughter, Debbie Smith & husband Eddie of Dallas, GA; brothers, David Voyles of Villa Rica, GA & Herbert Voyles & wife Barbara of Buckhead, GA; two grandsons, two granddaughters, five great-grandchildren; and many nephews & nieces. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Lee Maxwell. Ruby was born on Friday, October 17, 1930, in Austell, GA to Howard & Rosalee Voyles. She married the love of her life, Robert Lee Maxwell and they had seventy wonderful years together. Ruby was a long-time member of New Vision Baptist Church. She had a personal relationship with God and enjoyed spending time reading her bible. Ruby also enjoyed spending time traveling with her daughter, going on camping trips and to Hawaii. She liked to spend time doing embroidery and playing bingo. Ruby worked hard throughout her life helping to provide and care for her family. She loved people and always had a big smile for everyone she would meet. Ruby’s loving presence will be forever missed. Ruby’s favorite Bible Verse: Revelation 21 Verse 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be anymore pain: for the former things are all passed away.
