Sheryl Suzette Donaldson

April 11, 1963 - July 4, 2021

Sheryl Suzette Donaldson was born on April 11, 1963, in Ridgewood, NJ to Marian Taylor and the late Charles Donaldson. She graduated high school from Pine Crest High School in Florida and college from the University of Richmond, in Virginia, where she played on their women’s basketball team. She later attended Chamberlain University in 2016 where she received a second bachelor’s and was recently working on her master’s degree. Sheryl had many careers during her life, but nursing was her true calling. She started out in the ICU taking care of patients and ended as a Manger of Accreditation at Piedmont Healthcare. Having lived in the United States most of her life, most recently in Kennesaw, Ga, Sheryl also lived in The Bahamas for many years, as well as Margarita Island, off the coast of Venezuela. Sheryl was full of life, loved to travel, a mentor to many and amazing human to all who needed it. She was always smiling and spent as much time as possible making memories with family and friends. Sheryl is predeceased by her father Charles and her older sister Celestine. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Marian Taylor; children, Gerald Theodore “Theo” Roberts and Giovanna Elliotte Roberts; grandson, Luca Roberts; Step-mother, Anita Wheeler; Brothers, Charles “Chuckie” Donaldson (Lorinda) and Wimberly Taylor (Amanda); Brother-in-law, Dr. Robert Friedman; Sisters, Dr. Kim Donaldson and Lisa McCalla (Derrick); Uncles: Luther Donaldson and Davidson Hepburn; Aunts: Verna Neilly, Carol Donaldson, Dr. Ada Thompson, Yolande Donaldson, Evelyn Minor and Donna Towns; Nephews, Justin Friedman, Matthew Polichemi, Quinn and Cole Taylor; Nieces, Ericka Collins (Nick); Kaitlyn Friedman and Isabella Polichemi; Cousins, Sydney Thomas, Dr. Timothy Barrett (Samantha), D’Anne Barrett, Barry Usher-Donaldson, Baswell Donaldson (Shekina), Wesley Donaldson, Demetrius Donaldson (Lynn), Carrington Donaldson, Stephanie Harmon (Rodney), Harrison Neilly (Priscilla), Vernon Neilly (Rose), Deborah Lambert (Paul), David Donaldson, Kevin Donaldson, Tatiana Donaldson, Brett Donaldson (Taylor), D.
