Mayes Ward-Dobbins handled my sister's funeral back in 2016 and were the most caring, compassionate people I have ever dealt with. That is why I chose them to handle my mother’s funeral last month. They did not disappoint, same care and professionalism and compassion as before. Also, after a few hard months of fighting cancer, Riley made my mother look amazing at the funeral.

The Mayes Ward Staff was caring and professional. Steve Duncan was especially helpful in walking me through every step I needed to take after the death of my loved one. He was efficient in completing the death certificate and the obituary. He answered all of my questions promptly. I was very comforted to know that my loved one would be cared for with respect and kindness. Steve helped make find comfort and peace throughout the process. I’m so grateful for the staff at Mayes Ward.

Terry Pendley brought him back to Ga with no problems. My second husband has just passed away during COVID-19 and Steve Duncan was wonderful and so helpful during such a trying time. I wouldn't trust my loved one to anyone else.

From the initial phone call to receiving the death certificates, I was extremely impressed by the professionalism and caring demeanor from everyone. I can’t speak enough kind words about this place and Chad. I had no idea how to plan a funeral. And given that my dads death was sudden and unexpected and he didn’t have any plans in place, I was at a lost. Chad walked me and my brother through every step. Been meaning to write this for a while now and just now getting around to it. This place was just incredible! They thought of everything, were personal, sensitive, and hard working. They did everything to take care of our family and do it for a great price and do it in an excellent way. I am a widow of 3 little children, and they were so thoughtful with that, even setting up a private and comfortable room for me to nurse my little baby in during a break from the visitation. They called ahead to make sure we had the best parking and the most for the burial. Its family run and you can tell because they treat you like family not a business. They have integrity and do an EXCELLENT job in every single detail. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
