Bradley Allen Firle

Brad Firle, 76, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 22, 2024. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Brad’s life will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Mighty Fortress Lutheran Church in Hiram, GA, with Pastor Dave Starr officiating. Brad was born on May 21, 1948, in Sleepy Eye, MN, to Corwin and Marvel Firle. He spent his early years in Fairfax, MN growing up on and helping with the Firle family farm. Shortly after graduating from college, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a communications specialist. Following his military service, Brad embarked on a successful career with Beneficial Finance, where he held various senior executive roles during his decades-long tenure and made many lifelong friends. In 2011, after retiring from financial services, Brad and his wife relocated from Rancho Cucamonga, CA to Powder Springs, GA. Retirement did not slow him down—he took a part-time job with Home Depot, where he enjoyed connecting with people. Brad found joy in simple pleasures: spending time with family and friends, working in his yard, relaxing in his spa, and cheering (and sometimes crying) for his beloved Minnesota Vikings, affectionately known as the "Stupid Vikes." Brad is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Eiliene Firle; his son, Allen Firle (Lindsey) of Buckley, WA; three daughters, Tammy Evans of Powder Springs, GA, Kristy Stokes (Jeremiah) of Powder Springs, GA, and Angie Boland (Josh) of Fort Mill, SC; one sister, Brenda Zollner (Dave) of Fairfax, MN; four brothers, Ken Firle (Renae) of Alexandria, MN, Don Firle of Fairfax, MN, Dave Firle (Vicky) of Fairfax, MN, and Greg Firle (Jennifer) of Waveland, MS. He also leaves behind eleven cherished grandchildren, Aliya and Alexis (Evans), Ryan and Maddie (Firle), Aubrie, Sierra, Felicia and Gianna (Boland), Cadon, Dillon, and Mayson (Stokes), and one great-granddaughter, Avaya (Evans-Rochez) and many beloved nieces and nephews. Brad is proceeded in death by his mother and father, Marvel and Corwin Firle, and by his son-in-law William (Bill) Evans. Brad will always be remembered for his love for his family, his strong work ethic, his ability to connect with and make friends with everyone he met and his genuine excitement for Christmas. His warmth, humor, mentorship, and dedication to those he loved will be deeply missed.
