Chandler William Holman

Chandler William Holman passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 20, 2022, at the age of 21. Chandler was busy attending Kennesaw State University pursuing a degree in Journalism and Spanish after graduating from Harrison High School as part of the Class of 2019. At Harrison High – Chandler was a pioneer in that he attended all classes virtually and was selected as part of the National Honor Society and also enjoyed participating in the Spanish Club. Chandler was recognized by the Harrison High teachers as a Top 10 Outstanding Senior and also was awarded the 2019 Diane Vehar Scholarship by the West Cobb Business Association recognizing students that symbolize “Character Beats Adversity”. Chandler loved his faith as a member of Transfiguration Catholic Church, family, friends, and neighbors and was an avid video gamer. Chandler had an infectious personality that touched the lives of so many people in such a short amount of time; he was able to accomplish much before his untimely passing. Chandler was a hard worker, resilient figure in the face of adversity. Chandler’s sense of humor was second to none and he was as compassionate as he was funny. Even when ill, Chandler was never angry, sad, or depressed – he could find the silver lining to keep pushing forward in any situation. Chandler represented the good that we all need every day in our lives. Chandler is survived by his parents, Eric Holman and Eileen (Pisani) Holman; his brother, Garrett Holman; his grandparents; John Pisani & wife Ann, Irene Simon; Aunt Diane (Holman) French & husband Dennis, Aunt Denise Holman, Uncle Stephen Holman, Uncle John Pisani, Jr., Uncle Michael Pisani & wife Katie; cousins, Daniel French & wife Jesika, Jennifer (French) Perkins & husband Brett, Isabella Pisani, & Milo Pisani, and the countless friends and lives Chandler has touched throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Troy & Eleanor Holman, and Frank Simon. While flowers are appreciated - as an alternative to flowers, contributions can be made in Chandler's honor to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation at choa.org/helpkids A visitation service will be held on Friday, July 1st from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm with a Prayer service beginning at 8:00 PM at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home Powder Springs Chapel at 3940 Macland Road, Powder Springs, GA 30127. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 2nd at 2 PM at Transfiguration Catholic Church at 1815 Blackwell Road, Marietta, GA 30066 with Monsignor Patrick Bishop Officiating.
