Danielle Ehrlich Nabinger

Danielle Ehrlich Nabinger passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, at the age of 60, in Marietta, Georgia. Danielle is survived by her husband, John Nabinger; her daughter, Sidney Nabinger; and her son, Cole Nabinger; and her sister, Tracey Foley and brother-in-law, John Foley of Scotch Plains, New Jersey. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Danielle was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Patricia Ehrlich. Danielle was born on January 22, 1965 in Trenton, New Jersey to Leonard Ehrlich and Patricia Ehrlich (maiden name – Fuccello). She graduated from Bucknell University in 1987 with a BA degree in Psychology & Political Science; and Rutgers University in 1991 with an MSW in Administration, Policy & Planning. She married John Edward Nabinger in 1992, beginning a partnership built on love, dedication, and family. Danielle was a kind, selfless, and deeply loving woman who lived her life for others. Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother who would do anything for her beloved two children, Sidney and Cole. They were the center of her world, and every decision she made was guided by what was best for them and her family. Her warmth, compassion, and quiet strength made everyone around her feel safe, supported, and loved. She had a deep love for rescue dogs, and her beloved Duke was always by her side, sharing a bond that reflected her gentle and loving heart. In her professional life, for the past 30 years, Danielle had a single goal, to make the world a better place for kids in the child welfare system. Working in a wide range of professional settings in and out of the child welfare and healthcare systems, Danielle was not just an accomplished human services expert and strategist, she was an advocate and leader in every endeavor she took on. Her lasting legacy will be the partnerships and organizations she built. Her work has ensured the safety, permanence and well being of thousands of children. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (https://tribute.ocrahope.org/danielleehrlichnabinger) or the Atlanta Humane Society. Alternatively, floral tributes are gratefully welcomed. A private service will be held for family and invited guests.
