Ena Hennessee

Kathryn Hennessee, known by her friends and family as “Ena” Hennessee, passed away on Saturday, April 6, at the age of 37. Born on May 19, 1986, in Birmingham, AL. She was the third of four children of Jane Hurst, Boynton Beach, FL and Tim Coefield, Vestavia, AL. Raised in Georgia, Ena was a Marietta, GA native and a graduate of Lassiter High School in 2004. Ena and her true love, Alex, were married in 2014, and thus began their great adventure together which lasted for nearly a decade. Ena saw the world through the lens of a creative artist, and held to a pragmatic perspective of life. Although Ena focused most of her talents on tattooing, she was nonetheless a gifted musician and canvas styled artist. Over the years, her talent as an artist grew so much in popularity that even close friends had to wait 7 months before they could get an appointment. More importantly, she was a great friend to many, impacting people’s lives with an infectious smile, genuine kindness and deep loyalty. Ena was somewhat of a Renaissance Woman and was not prone to idleness. In addition to her tattooing profession, she experienced an array of work positions to even include being a hazardous materials/crime scene cleaning technician. Over the last several years, Ena found her career home at Inksomnia Tattoo in Johns Creek, Georgia. Before her passing, Ena took an apprentice and passed on her skills in the art of Tattooing. Her commitment to family was exhibited by always showing up, whatever the occasion may have been at the time. She ran in numerous foot races to include half and full marathon runs throughout the US. Being one to love nature and all forms of animals, She deeply loved her own cats and dog; DeeDee, BooBoo and Heidi. Ena is survived by her loving and caring Husband, Alex Hennessee, her Mother, Jane Hurst, her father, Tim (Susan) Coefield her sister, Calley Coefield, Schenectady, NY and brothers, Josiah (Alicia) Coefield, Villa Rica, GA and William (Gaelyn) Coefield, Woodstock, GA. Our deep sadness and grieving now, will eventually be eclipsed by joyous memories of our beloved Ena. She will be remembered as a loving wife, caring friend, talented artist, and most importantly a good person.
