Martha Teem Grayson

Martha Teem Grayson, 88, died Wednesday, August 18, 2021. A Marietta native, Martha, graduated from Osborne High School, and went to work for her uncle at the Teem Clinic. She developed a love for the medical field, and became the supervisor in the ER at Kennestone Hospital. Martha started Radiology Associates, for Dr. Bill Mathis and Dr. Max Hall, which thrived while at the same time consulting for Dr. Ralph Fowler and Dr. Judson Trippe. She loved the medical field and worked faithfully her entire life for it. Born to Clara Virginia Martin and Arnold Teem, Martha was an only child and proud of her heritage as a Teem. She met and married Jim Grayson who was stationed at Dobbins Air Force Base. She and Jim had three children Marty, and twins, Allison, and Andrea. She and Jim loved trips to the beach, golf, and square dancing. After Jim died she married Clifton Moor, and they enjoyed years of traveling and much family time since he had six children - Gil, Claire, Charlotte, Carol, Greg and Julie. Martha was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Marietta with Jim and the children for many years. After Jim died and she married Clifton, she moved her membership to First Baptist Church. Martha will be remembered as a classy, feisty, very generous, and faithful lady who cared deeply for her family. She is survived by her son Marty and Vickie Grayson and their children Hannah and Jeremy Fletcher (Grayson, Beyla, and Graham Dean), Jared and Tabitha Grayson, (Jake, Wyatt, Tinsley) and Leah and Brandon O’Dell (Brayden, Emma, Foster) and twin daughter Allison and Phil Per-Lee and their daughters, Claire and Laura and twin daughter Andrea and David Corley and her step children Claire and George Crissey and their children Stephen and Suzanne Crissey (Daniel), Alan and Melanie Crissey, Gil Moor, Greg Moor (step-daughter Heather Litter), Charlotte Waldrep and daughters Christiana and Cody Lowry (Emory, London, Lucy, and Darcy Jane), and Mandy Waldrep, Carol and John Haynes and their children Cliff Haynes, Anna and Tracy Green (Henry and Davis), and Julie Moor. There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Marietta. The family will receive visitors at 10:00 AM prior to the Service in the Chapel Parlor. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Marietta or Westminster Presbyterian Church, Snellville.
