Patrick Leslie Fallin

Patrick Leslie Fallin, 17, of Marietta, GA, died at home surrounded by his family on the evening of Sunday, January 29, 2023 after over 3 years battling synovial sarcoma cancer. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Christ Lutheran Church – West Cobb. A reception will follow the service at the church. The family requests everyone to wear purple in honor of Patrick’s favorite color. Patrick was an inspiration to all who knew him. He brought so much light to this world and shared wisdom so far beyond his years. Whenever anyone would say they were sorry he was going through this, he would simply shrug, smile, and say “‘Tis Life.” He maintained an incredibly positive attitude and mindset throughout the last 3 years and made a lasting impact on so many lives. Patrick was a confirmed Lutheran and was raised from birth in the close knit family at Christ Lutheran Church. His church was a part of his life that was just as important to him as his biological family. The cloth that was his life had just as many Christ Lutheran fibers as his Fallin and Koberg families. He was ringer in the Bell Choir and very active in Sunday School and all of the Youth Programs. Patrick was a Junior at Hillgrove High School. He played the cello in the advanced orchestra and earned his Third-Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo at 14. He loved all things airplanes and flying. He aspired to become a pilot in the United States Air Force. Patrick enjoyed playing video games, especially War Thunder, on his PC, and building all sorts of model airplanes. He could put together a Lego set in no time! Patrick is survived by his parents, Shawn Lee and Lisa Fallin; his four siblings, Shawn Lee Fallin, Jr., Amanda Fallin, Noah Lewis, and Janice Rose Fallin; his paternal grandparents, Don and Patti Fallin of Savannah, GA; his maternal grandparents, Les and Sharon Koberg of Marietta, GA; Uncle Lance (Christi) Koberg and cousins Luke & Logan; Aunt Lindsay (Cliff) Reese and cousins Brandon & Caleb; Uncle Kevin Fallin and cousins Ashlyn & Paul; and Uncle Timothy Fallin.
