Renda Regan McCall, 74, of Powder Springs, GA passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2023 in Austell, GA. A Memorial Service will be held in her honor on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Mayes Ward Dobbins Macland Chapel with Rev. James Burt officiating. Family will receive guest from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Mayes Ward Dobbins Macland Chapel. Renda will be laid to rest next to her loving husband at Mountain View Cemetery following the service. Family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Renda’s name to Must Ministries at ww.secure3.convio.net or mail your gift to 1407 Cobb Parkway NW Marietta, GA, 30062 Renda is survived by her brothers, William Earl Regan, Jr. & wife Frankie of Berwick, LA, Edward Murray Regan & wife Gwen of Huston, TX, Joel Harvey Regan & wife Coco of Kosciusko, MS; sister, Kay Regan Hamilton of Pearl, MS; stepchildren, Paige McCall Scott & husband Walter, Donnie McCall & wife Kayce, and Polly Cason McCall; sister-in-law, Judy McCall Smith; 4 grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Ward McCall and her parents, William & Sarah Regan. Renda Love Regan was born on Saturday, January 1, 1949, in Jackson, MS to William & Sarah Regan. She attended Ole Miss as well as Millsaps College earning her degree in education. Renda loved teaching and did so until her retirement. She married the love of her life and best friend, Donald Ward McCall in November of 1996 and they had 24 wonderful years together until his passing. Renda and Don loved spending time together, they were active members with the American Legion, enjoyed spending time in their garden, and they loved traveling and spending time on the beach. Renda also enjoyed her bible study group at the Park at Lost Mountain as well as watching Georgia and Mississippi football games. She was a good Christian woman with strong values. Renda had a sweet, kind and caring nature that will be forever missed.
