It is with very heavy hearts that we have to share that we lost our sweet and beloved little girl and sister, Isabella. She got her angel wings and left us early Thursday morning at the Childrens Hospital of Atlanta. She was surrounded by her parents and siblings while her heartbeat slowly faded. No one loved life more than Isabella and everybody whose life touched Isabella’s knew that she was always grateful and full of life - she was so appreciative of all the great things life had given her and wanted to live to the fullest. She loved and adored her siblings, she loved her friends, she loved her home and her school and she always had an upbeat and positive attitude about almost everything that surrounded her. She always knew how to make us smile and laugh. Isabella was handed some very difficult cards in life from a young age. She was first diagnosed with brain cancer shortly before her 2nd birthday. On her journey she was treated and supported by an amazing array of the worlds best Doctors and other medical professionals that gave us many years to make beautiful memories with her. Despite having such serious health issues stacked against her Isabella was able to live an amazing life. She would always be surrounded by love whether family or friends, she had a great social life, she would travel, investigate nature, go on adventure and she was always working on some creative project at any given time. She touched so many people on her way and everyone who knew her knows that she is as pure a little soul as you can find on this earth. Isabella would never let her disease or the treatment for it define who she was or how she wanted to live her life. After her second major brain surgery in 2017 she had lost her balance and could not see. She fought her way back with the help of her loved ones though and started full time school again where she left it. When the additional chemo treatment sucked every resource out of her body she wanted to keep fighting and joined the community swim team and competed in local swim meets. She learned watersports and rode fearless after our boat on her kneeboard and kept pushing the limits until she landed in the water with high speed. She kept attending school and work hard towards her academic goals, all while always showing love and having compassion for others. Our little girl has found peace now but she will forever live in our hearts and souls.
