Robert Louis Allen

Robert (Bob) Louis Allen, 81, passed Sunday January 1, 2023 surrounded by his family and embraced in love. Bob was born July 30, 1941, to the late Richard and Anna Allen in Brooklyn NY, the youngest of three children. He served as a paratrooper in the Army prior to entering in the printing business. After moving to Georgia in the late 70’s he opened his own business, and through his passion, hard work and determination, founded Pacesetter Graphic Service. Driven by his love for his family, employees, and the printing world, he enjoyed working day and night in the plant up until his retirement a few years prior to his passing. Bob was a well-respected figure in the printing world and his knowledge, work and contributions to the printing industry will be passed down throughout generations, forever honoring his legacy. Bob was a true patriarch to all who knew him. A big man in stature and personality, full of life, he loved people and being active. He enjoyed golfing, deep-sea fishing, and spending time with his close friends and family. Whether he was holding court after a game of golf in the men’s grill, making meatballs with his granddaughters, playing gin with his family, or taking his daughter for a spin on the dancefloor, he was full of life. He enjoyed the movies and quiet moments with his wife and looked forward to sitting down to read another one of his best friend’s novels. Bob’s generous spirit, quick witted humor, and bold personality will be dearly missed, but all who knew him loved him and he will forever live on in their hearts. He is survived by his wife Atsuko, daughter and son in law, Stacy and Bryan Boyd, three granddaughters Alexandria, Peyton and Talia, as well as his stepchildren Kristina and John Lomant, their children Braeden and Avery and Stephanie and Ryan Cone and their children Aubrey and Madelyn. A memorial service will be held 11am Saturday morning, January 14, 2023, at Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral home, 180 Church St. Marietta GA 30060. Our family chain has been broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again. I love you Daddy, Stacy
