Tracie Gonzenbach

Tracie Gonzenbach, 47, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on January 25, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Tracie was a fiercely loyal sister, an incredible friend, an amazing daughter and a proud aunt. She was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Beth Gonzenbach of Chattanooga, TN and David Gonzenbach of Atlanta, GA. Tracie grew up on Signal Mountain, Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She was known for her fun-loving spirit and social nature. She had an extraordinary ability to make each person feel seen, heard and valued. Tracie found great joy in connecting with others, bringing warmth, laughter and a sense of togetherness to every gathering. Her kindness, generosity, and genuine care for others left an unforgettable mark on the lives of friends and family alike. Tracie enjoyed summer trips to Hilton Head with her family, weekends spent at the lake, camping, hiking and spending time with her beloved dog, Piper. Her warmth and sincerity touched everyone who knew her, and she found deep joy in being surrounded by friends and family, treasuring the moments that brought people together. Above all, she cherished moments with her niece Claire, filled with play and laughter. Her family and loved ones will carry her legacy forward with gratitude and love. Survivors include her sisters Shelly Gonzenbach and Amy (Josh) Reed; niece Claire Reed; her mother, Beth Gonzenbach; her father, David Gonzenbach and partner, Nathan Rogers as well as many other extended family and friends. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, L.G. and Mary Gonzenbach and Max and Elsie Bruning, as well as cousins Eric Gonzenbach, Liz Gonzenbach McBee and Zach Bruning. Tracie’s legacy is one of love, kindness and the joy she brought to others. She will be remembered for her enduring ability to bring people together and the light she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her. May Tracie’s memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A private Celebration of Life service will be held in her honor at a later date at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia, where she will be laid to rest next to her family.
