William Rice Robbins IV

In Loving Memory of William Rice Robbins IV Devoted Son, Brother, Husband, Father and Friend William “Will” Rice Robbins IV, age 63 of Marietta, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025, with family by his side. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Liddle Robbins; sister, Pamela Robbins Siegel, and brother Warren Edwards Robbins. Will is survived by his father; William Rice Robbins III, wife; Maria, son Quinn and a host of extended family and close friends whose lives were better for having known him. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Will lived a full life-marked by love, service and an unshakable spirit. He was the kind of man who made others feel at home the moment they met him- and in truth, he never met a stranger. Will was a self-employed contractor whose talents were matched only by humility. Whether it was home repairs, carpentry, or anything mechanical, he could fix just about anything- and often did, for neighbors, friends and family alike. His hands were steady and his mind sharp, and his heart was always willing to help. He had an unmatched passion for the outdoors. Will found peace and joy in nature- especially on the water, fishing rod in his hand. He was an accomplished boater with a commercial captain’s license, and he relished every moment spent navigating open waters and sharing that passion with family and friends. His love for nature extended to the plant world as well. Will was a proud member of the International Palm Society and Fairchild Tropical Gardens in Miami, Florida. His fascination with palms and tropical flora was more than a hobby- it was reflection of his deep appreciation for beauty, life and growth. Will gave generously of his time and talents to Boy Scout Troop 287, where he held various leadership roles, including Assistant Scout Master. Through his steady guidance, humor and encouragement, he helped shape the character of countless young men, always leading by example. Known for his warm smile and natural charisma, Will was a fearless adventurer with a heart for people. Whether chatting with someone in line at the store or telling stories around a campfire, he had the rare gift of making everyone feel like a lifelong friend. Will’s legacy is one of love, laughter, craftsmanship, and community. His presence was a gift, his love was a foundation, and his memory will guide those who knew and loved him. Rest peacefully, Will. You will always be with us. A Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Thursday, July 3, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marietta, GA with interment following at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta.
